Apples and Oranges

You hear it day after day. "You can't compare apples and oranges." I remeber sitting in third grade when my teacher first used the phrase. I sat there perplexed, wondering how could it be possible. Had my intellectual capacities finally surpassed those of Mrs. Thomas's?
The answer was yes. I had not only surpassed Mrs. Thomas, but the entire world that stands silent before the mighty apple and the awesome orange.

So world, here you go. I've decided to provide a simple venn diagram illustrating the similarities and differences between an apple, and an orange.
